well if you do get a cintiq you will have to be very careful and always constantly wiping the screen every time you use it with a damp microfiber cloth. you also must make sure to always clean off the nib tip as it can collect dust and such and can abrase the screen surface. I had a graphire 4 as my first tablet of Wacom.
I had to upgrade cause 1. the graphire was having problems with Vista home premium 64 bit (I currently use it with my cintiq) and 2. it only had about 512 points of pressure which limited me plus no tilt function whatsoever.
though I have upgraded Ill never forget the very first tablet I brought with my own work money (graphire 4).
I gave it to my nephew and I hope if it gets thrown out Ill take it back and keep it as a momento.
