I think I'm going to take the time right now to reintroduce myself. I have been MIA for the most part for the last year and a half to 2 years. Posting when I can. Commenting when I can. Thanking for 's in bulk. I feel like a bad artist. So this is my attempt at reconnecting with old dA friends and meeting my newer followers. Hopefully you all haven't given up hope on me yet.

Here we go...
My name is Regina Palacios. I'm an almost 28 year old graphic designer from Southern California. I've been on here since 2008 and was really active for about 2 of those years (2009-2010) mainly doing digital art of some kind. My hope was to revive my dead artist soul that was taken away by having an inhouse graphic design position for  the same company for a number of years (it's up to 6 now as of tomorrow...yikes!). It worked for a while.  Then I got engaged and got busy planning my wedding (2010-2011) and lost time to do extra graphic stuff. Around that time I started diving into crafts and photography. I'd always liked those things but lost time to do them or chose other mediums to pursue. In turn those kinda jump started my designs and my work at work (lol) started improving.

In the last year I've invested in a pretty neat Nikon camera and often find myself taking photo days just to test things out. I'm still learning the ins and outs of my camera but overall I like the progress I'm making. On the crafts side of things I opened an Etsy shop making wedding related items. I hope to expand that to include my graphic design and some other craft goods. I've found that having my own side business takes up a lot of time and is hard work but well worth the effort. After all, it paid for my wedding my Maui. Not too shabby, huh?

My new goals for this year (I know I'm 4 months late but forgive me) is to try to become more active on here again and get myself more involved my the groups that I've left by the wayside (da Link System and Hipstamaic). I'm currently in a few other groups outside of dA that I'll probably talk about in a later posting. For now, I'll end this here.
